PIOMIC-MAVERICKS COMS Study Projects & Initiatives Concurrent Optical and Magnetic Stimulation (COMS) for treatment of refractory diabetic foot ulcers. We are enrolling patients in a clinical study to investigate a non-invasive Swiss medical device. Treatments are short (16 minutes) and applied twice weekly over the course of 8 weeks during standard wound care. Inclusion Criteria: Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes mellitus Presence of a Diabetic Foot Ulcer located below the ankle Diabetic Foot Ulcer has been present for at least 30 days but less than a year You are not undergoing dialysis treatment You do not have an active infection (Female subjects of childbearing potential must be willing to use acceptable methods of contraception) Qualified participants may receive compensation for time and travel "study-related" care at no extra cost from local specialists.
