Micro-Lectures

Micro-lectures are “short recorded audio or video presentations on a single, tightly defined topic.” They allow educators to provide key points, just-in-time training or blend the lectures with hands-on activities. These short, informational sessions encourage self-directed learning where learners can access the information when convenient and at their own pace.

Registration for all micro-lectures has moved to the UFCOMJ Medical Education portal—visit the portal to see what’s available.

Once inside the portal:

1. Click on the orange Micro-Lectures button
2. Click on the dark blue Micro-Lectures Registration button
3. Click on the dark blue Micro-Lectures Sessions button
4. Select a micro-lecture to watch by clicking on the green Register button and then the associated dark blue Recording button
5. Once you finish watching the micro-lecture, come back to the portal and complete the associated short Quiz for that micro-lecture
6. Once the quiz is complete and at least 80% correct, the CME office will add your credit to CE Broker (within 4-6 weeks)
