Call for Celebration Day Faculty Reviewers & Judges

Applications Due February 4th

All faculty for the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville can volunteer as a reviewer or judge as part of the Celebration of Resident and Fellow Education and Research Day. There is a .pdf version of the call for abstract reviewers and poster judges form .pdf (Adobe PDF Document) if you would like to review the form prior to submission. Please complete the call for abstract reviewers and poster judges form and submit if you would like to volunteer! Selected reviewers and judges will be notified by February 9th. Please email Colleen Kalynych, Ed.D. at colleen.kalynych@jax.ufl.edu with any questions.

This year’s event will mirror both 2020 and 2021 where all posters will be electronic and posted on the UF Health Jacksonville intranet Bridge website. Those abstracts accepted for platform presentation will provide a 10 minute, live oral presentation in the LRC in a socially-distanced manner covering their research.

Effective Poster Microlecture

Important Dates

  • Abstracts due March 18th
  • Acceptance letters will be sent by April 15th: Oral platform presenters and posters
  • Submit completed posters by May 16th to link in acceptance letter
  • Oral presenter PowerPoints due June 6th to OEA
  • Poster website live morning of June 8th
  • Poster winners in each category notified on website and via email morning of June 8th
  • Oral platform presenters present afternoon of June 8th

Judging Criteria

To help trainees and their mentors prepare abstracts, oral presentations and posters, please read the reviewer and judging criteria.

For each category, our team has compiled detaied instructions and guidelines regarding how abstracts should be written and submitted.

Poster Templates

We have created a variety of templates that you can use to create your poster. They come in 3 and 4 column versions with a blue, orange, blue-dashed or white background.
