CDQ-Education UF Jacksonville Physicians, Inc. department of clinical data quality (CDQ) education is comprised of organizational subject matter experts in areas related to professional medical coding. Our mission is to provide the training necessary for employees to be successful in obtaining job-specific certifications and enhance their knowledge in their daily work responsibilities. The CDQ education department is dedicated to preparing students to apply class, workshop and seminar knowledge in ‘real world’ situations. Various tools are provided by the department to assist UF Health providers and coders in selecting appropriate procedure and diagnosis codes. Our talented education specialists are experienced in training, educating and motivating students, employees and medical staff. Learn more about the educational programs the CDQ education department provides for UF Health employees: The mandatory provider education program comprised of module A (evaluation and management documentation guidelines) and module C (billing compliance training) is administered to UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville employee providers. A professional medical coding curriculum comprised of courses in anatomy, medical terminology, healthcare industry basics, diagnostic coding and procedural coding is offered to non-provider employees of UF Health Jacksonville.
