The purpose of this study is to see how factors such as where you live and work, your education level, your socioeconomic status, what you do for a living, and how you feel about stress impact how you feel and how you handle pain. We will also explore how pain medication may influence unwanted events such as risk of overdose. Lastly, we will assess genetic factors that impact how the body
processes prescription medication.

Inclusion Criteria

1. >/= 18 years of age
2. Patient with chronic pain (pain present for 3 or more months)

Exclusion Criteria

1. Non-English speaking
2. incarcerated
3. Unable to provide consent
