This study is for patients of all ages with either known or suspected genetic diseases. There is no cost associated with participation in this research study.

We would like to obtain a sample (e.g., blood, urine, saliva, cheek swab, the tissue that has already been removed surgically, spinal fluid that is being removed for clinical reasons, tissue from skin biopsy that is being done for clinical reasons, etc.) to add to a specimen bank for future research. Participants will have the option to choose which, if not all, samples can be collected and stored.

Once collected, the specimen labels will contain only age, a unique code, and gender and will not include any personal information about the participant.

This study also includes a data bank to store some of your existing medical information. The data is kept in a password-protected University of Florida, Jacksonville computer server and can only be accessed by the Research team working on this study.
