Breaking Through the Glass Ceiling: Networking Best Practices for Women in Emergency Medicine

Study Description

Despite having equal numbers of women entering the medical field, we have a dearth of females in top positions in academic medicine. This leadership gap has been shown repeatedly across different specialties in medicine, including Emergency Medicine; however, research on overcoming this leadership gap is lacking. This study will seek to better understand networking strategies among successful women in order to provide resources and tools for advancement of women in academic emergency medicine.
