Clinical Research Details Clinical Research Early Ambulation to Reduce hospital Length-of-stay (EARLY): A Pilot Randomized Control Trial Study Description Current hospital length-of-stay (LOS) at UF Health Jacksonville is longer than our target and national averages. Early ambulation of inpatients has been shown to decrease LOS. While patients' physicians order for early ambulation or 'activity as tolerated', the order itself has not translated into routine early ambulation practices. We will test if a patient wearable device (pedometer) measuring steps ambulated decreases hospital LOS and provides other benefits. Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria N/A Investigators Jennifer N.
