One of the University of Florida family medicine centers serving Southside Jacksonville residents has a new location and a new name.
The UF Kernan Square Family Medicine Center opened this month at 12620 Beach Boulevard, Suite 13. It replaces the UF St. Johns Bluff Primary Care Center.
At more than 5,200 square feet, the new location is about 25 percent bigger, has room for expansion and has more parking to better accommodate patients.
Mark A. Clarke, M.D., medical director of the center and assistant professor of community health and family medicine at the UF College of Medicine-Jacksonville; Swati Sharma, M.B.B.S. (M.D.), an assistant professor of community health and family medicine; and physician assistant Laurel Herron, PA-C, will continue the practice at the new location.
The phone number, (904) 633-0585, remains the same. Most insurance plans are accepted. Please call or click here for details on the clinic and the physicians who practice there.
