UF College of Medicine ranked in the top 50 medical schools

Dr. Michael L. Good, interim dean of the University of Florida College of Medicine announced today that for the third straight year, UF's College of Medicine ranked 48th in the U.S. News & World Report national rankings of top schools of medicine. The rankings are based on a composite score of peer assessments by medical school deans and residency program directors, research funding from the NIH, MCAT score, GPA, acceptance rate of medical school applicants and faculty resources.

This sustained ranking as a top 50 medical school is another positive reflection on the quality of our COM research, education, and clinical care programs. Good congratulated and thanked all the UF College of Medicine faculty and staff.
