Faculty at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville continue to excel within and outside our organization on the local and national level.
Congratulations to Eric Conde, MSA, senior associate dean for administrative affairs, on his appointment to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Business Affairs Steering Committee. Conde will serve as the Human Resources Interest Group representative for a two-year term. As a committee member he will work to implement initiatives and actions of the Group on Business Affairs.
The Group on Business Affairs is comprised of leaders with various responsibilities at medical schools throughout the country with a goal to advance administrative and fiscal management in academic medical institutions and support medical education, research and health care.
“As the new chair of the GBA Human Resources Interest Group, I look forward to continuing to improve and carry on the work of this actively engaged group in keeping the HR community in academic medicine connected and bringing our issues to the forefront,” Conde said.
Conde came to the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville in 2006. He is a fellow and a diplomate in Healthcare Administration of the AAMA, a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Forum for Latino Healthcare Executives.
