Upcoming Sessions and Recorded Events

The University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville provides a robust faculty development program that covers the required ACGME areas of as educators and evaluators, well-being, quality improvement and patient safety, and eliminating health inequities. The Medical Education Portal houses all of the faculty development sessions, allowing faculty and staff to register for live sessions held at noon, watch high-quality recordings for CME credit at their convenience, and enroll in other faculty development programming.

The Medical Education Portal additionally provides faculty and their programs with dashboard data of attendance in various faculty development programs in addition to the one-hour sessions (live or recorded), such as Tuesday's Teaching Tips and Micro-lectures.

Through collaboration with the Continuing Medical Education (CME) Office, CME credit is available for faculty development programs. CME credit is available for live attendance (in person and via livestream/Zoom) and by watching recorded sessions and completing the quiz with a passing score of 80%. The CME office logs credits into CE Broker within 4-6 weeks of quiz completion.
