Ten longtime faculty members at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville were honored with service awards this month.
Three are celebrating 20 years with the university, while seven more were recognized for their 10-year anniversary at the academic health center.
The experienced faculty physicians are spread over the campus in various specialties from cardiology and emergency medicine to surgery and radiology. Two of the honorees practice in the UF&Shands network of primary care clinics – one in Callahan and the other in North Jacksonville at the UF Dunn Avenue Family Practice Center.
"The recognition for these seasoned physicians is another prime example of the commitment of our 400 faculty members to the essential mission of academic medicine," said Daniel R.
