This memorial fund was established by Scott’s family and friends to honor the deceased pediatric resident. The fund donations are being used to enhance the training and education of present and future pediatric residents.

The Reed Educational Campus School has been identified as a site that fulfills these objectives. The school has been established as an educational after-school program for young girls who are underserved in the Duval County Public School System.

This school has been incorporated into the pediatric residency program rotation, and the funds will provide school supplies, books, nutritional supplies and educational equipment that will be used by the residents during rotation and assist the school on a daily basis.
