Projects and Programs Patient Centered Research Collaborative (PCRC) The PCRC’s mission is to promote health and well-being by developing, implementing and co-collaborating with fellow stakeholders on meaningful patient centered and community engaged research projects and programs. The PCRC: Identifies local community health needs Provides critical input in developing research questions Helps to develop culturally appropriate protocols and recruitment strategies Participates in the development and implementation of research projects Identifies outcomes of interest Provide your views on the research process! Florida Cohort The goal of the Florida Cohort is to assess how individual, clinic, and community level factors influence healthcare accessibility and utilization and HIV clinical outcomes across the state of Florida. Florida-California Cancer Research, Education and Engagement (CaRE2) Health Equity Center The long-term goals of the Florida-California CaRE2 Health Equity Center are to: Eliminate cancer disparities in Blacks and Latinos, Train and increase the pool of underrepresented Black and Latino scientists conducting health disparity research, Increase research capacity at Florida A & M University and to increase cancer disparity research at the University of Florida and University of Southern California-Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.
