Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:
1. Distinguish between innocent and pathologic heart murmurs.
2. Summarize the physiology of specific murmurs.
3. Describe the epidemiology of pathologic and innocent murmurs in the pediatric population.
4. Summarize when cardiology referral is indicated.
5. Review continued outpatient cardiology follow up for specific murmurs.
