Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance for Gram-negative bacteria.
2. Know the IDSA Gram-negative resistance categories.
3. Discuss new antibiotics available for the treatment of multidrug-resistant and extensively drug-resistant Gram-negative infections.
