Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
1. Discuss expert “safety planning.”
2. Cite reasons not to rely on divorce to keep patient safe from violence.
3. Use questions from validated lethality assignments in clinical care of D.V. patients.
4. Review documentation for D.V. injuries and strangulation.
5. Recite the 4 fatal outcomes on unremitting IPV: homicide, suicide, homicide-suicide, and suicide-by-cop.
