Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:
1. Recognize key clinical features of cyclic vomiting syndrome (CVS) and abdominal migraine.
2. Discuss the pathophysiology and overlapping features of CVS and abdominal migraine.
3. Describe how to differentiate CVS and abdominal migraine from other causes of vomiting and abdominal pain.
4. Review diagnostic criteria, treatment strategies, and when to refer.
5. Summarize the role of the general pediatrician in timely diagnosis and family reassurance.
