Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:
• Apply key Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) practices, including standard and transmission-based precautions
• Understand your role in preventing:
o Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSIs)
o Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTIs)
o Clostridioides difficile Infection (CDI)
o Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
o Hospital-Acquired Infections (HAIs)
• Integrate antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship into clinical decision-making
• Recognize and respond effectively to hospital outbreaks
