Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:
At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
1. Examine issued related to end-of-life care.
2. Discuss the role of the Palliative Care Team.
3. Review and clarify resuscitation orders.
4. Review the role of the general pediatrician during end-of-life care.
5. Discuss key components to "Do Not Resuscitate" orders.
6. Define Palliative Care and role in inpatient and outpatient setting.
