Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Discuss the varying patterns of kidney involvement by different viral infections.

2. Identify the more common renal viral infections encountered in immunosuppressed patients.

3. Discuss some of the characteristic histologic and immunologic findings in different types of viral infections involving the kidney.
