Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Define cardiac sarcoidosis and review diagnostic criteria using available society guidelines.
2. Appreciate the extreme heterogeneity of this disease process reflected in the various clinical manifestations.
3. Emphasize the importance of early recognition given its poor associated morbidity and mortality.
4. Highlight the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in caring for these patients.
