1. Recognize the signs and symptoms of severe pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum in a pediatric patient.
2. Recognize when to refer a pectus patient for surgical consultation.
3. Discuss the evaluation of pectus patients.
4. Discuss the treatment options for children with pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum in a pediatric patient.
