Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Define Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC).
2. Identify the pathogenesis and varying presentations of PBC.
3. Formulate an approach to diagnose PBC.
4. Recognize the role of genetic predisposition, environmental triggers, and molecular mimicry in pathogenesis of autoimmune liver diseases.
5. List the treatment options of PBC.
