At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
1. Identify appropriate terminology for gender-affirmative care.
2. Describe the Pediatrician’s role in helping patients and families navigate gender assignment and gender identity.
3. Recognize the psychosocial aspects of gender incongruence.
4. Discuss puberty suppression.
5. Utilize community resources for our patients and families.
