UF Health and YMCA cut ribbon on new rehabilitation facility and fitness center

UF Health Jacksonville and the YMCA of Florida’s First Coast cut the ribbon Oct. 2, 2020 on a new joint project in the heart of Wildlight in Nassau County. The building is a combination rehabilitation facility and fitness center that will bring the latest innovations in healthy living to a rapidly growing part of Northeast Florida.

“Residents of Wildlight and the communities around it now have access to the most advanced health care and rehabilitative services possible, all alongside a fantastic YMCA that offers the most complete and innovative fitness resources possible,” said Leon Haley, CEO of UF Health Jacksonville and dean of the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville.

UF Health Rehabilitation – Wildlight offers occupational, physical and speech therapy to patients of all ages. Sessions are 45 minutes long and offered by highly trained, licensed therapists.
