UF Health will be opening a new family medicine practice at UF Health North on Tuesday, Aug. 14. UF Health Family Medicine – North will accept patients from infants to senior adults. Services offered will include acute care, chronic disease management, minor procedures and well-child visits.

The practice is located in the medical office building, suite 6900. Appointments can be made by calling 904-383-1000.

John Lammie, MD, joins UF Health and the University of Florida from Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, where he served as director of medical education and the designated institutional official.

Lammie received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and has had a long career in practicing surgery and family medicine in the military. He was also a faculty member at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.
