Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
1. Define traumatic stress/adverse experiences and their impact on brain development.
2. Discuss the ACEs study and its relationship to adult outcomes.
3. Identify the signs and symptoms of trauma/adversity on behavior, functioning, and health.
4. Identify the important pillars of creating trauma-informed and resilience-building practices.
5. Review COVID-19 inequities data and define health equity.
6. Distinguish between cultural humility and cultural competence.
7. Identify barriers to COVID-19 vaccination and at least one communication strategy.
