Upon completion of the presentation, participants will be able to:

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
1. Define advocacy and why it is important.
2. Identify the various levels of advocacy and the settings where these take place.
3. Discuss the pediatrician’s role in child health advocacy.
4. Summarize how to develop an advocacy initiative using a current trainee’s experience.
5. Identify resources which can be used when developing advocacy initiatives.
