The University of Florida uses a passive enrollment process—if you don’t make changes, your current benefits will automatically roll over. We encourage you to review your elections to ensure they meet your needs.

Open Enrollment Key Dates
- Open Enrollment Starts: 8 a.m. ET – Monday, Oct. 13, 2025
- Open Enrollment Ends: Submit changes by 6 p.m. ET – Friday, Oct. 31, 2025
- Benefits Changes Take Effect: Jan. 1, 2026
New Deduction Start Dates
Any changes to plan deductions will appear in paychecks on the following dates:
- State Plans: Dec. 12th, 2025
- HSA/FSA: Jan. 9th, 2026
- GatorCare and UFSelect: Jan. 9th, 2026
How to Make Benefits Changes
State Benefits (People First):
- Log into your State of Florida People First account using your People First user ID and password.
- Your People First ID is available in myUFL at: Main Menu > My Self Service > Benefits > PFID & Beneficiary Info
- Communications from People First also include this ID
- Assistance: People First Service Center – (866) 663-4735
University of Florida Benefits (UFSelect or GatorCare):
- Log into your myUFL Benefits portal using your GatorLink ID and password.
