UF doctors to offer free screenings again at Riverside Arts Market

After a successful Saturday in September, physicians from the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville will go back to the Riverside Arts Market this weekend.

Two weeks ago, the doctors from various UF departments gave over 225 free health screenings at the popular Saturday market, underneath the Fuller Warren Bridge on Riverside Avenue.

Physicians checked blood pressure and blood sugar and also measured Body Mass Index.

UF physicians will be out again on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Riverside Arts Market features up to 160 artists, food vendors, musicians and a fresh produce market every Saturday from March to December.
