Brent E. Seibel, M.D., FACOG, assistant professor and chief of the division of urogynecology in the University of Florida College Of Medicine – Jacksonville department of obstetrics and gynecology, has been appointed by the Dean for a three year term on the UF College of Medicine Academic Status Committee beginning July 1, 2010.
The committee is responsible for reviewing the academic performance and professional conduct of all students in the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Seibel will be replacing UFCOM-J professor Guy I. Benrubi, M.D. as one of the ten voting members of the committee.
Dr. Seibel also serves as medical director for obstetrics and gynecology simulation education and as clerkship director for the department.
