Tom Morrissey, M.D., a University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville assistant professor of emergency medicine and clerkship director, has been named the 2008 College of Medicine Clinical Science Teacher of the Year. Morrissey was presented with the award during the college’s annual awards banquet Monday, April 28 at Emerson Alumni Hall in Gainesville, Fla.
The event also included special recognition for student and staff contributions, outstanding resident teachers and exemplary teacher awards as well as master educator fellows.
