The Exemplary Teacher Program of the University of Florida College of Medicine annually recognizes outstanding educators on both the Gainesville and Jacksonville campuses. This year 65 UF faculty from various departments will be honored. Faculty members with outstanding teaching evaluations from either medical students or residents (greater than 4.5 on a 5 point scale) are eligible. Recognition includes a plaque, lapel pin, and listing in the annual Medical Education Week banquet program, as well as a financial award through each campus’s compensation plan.
