Gayle Earns PMCP Recertification in Pediatric Critical Care

Michael Gayle, M.D., FAAP, FCCM, an associate professor of pediatrics, recently passed the American Board of Pediatrics recertification examination in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (PCCM).

PCCM recertification is part of ABP’s Program for Maintenance of Certification in Pediatrics® – or PMCP, designed to provide assurance that ABP-certified pediatricians and sub-specialists are up to date with their specialty.

The program’s single objective is to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents. PMCP not only sets a standard for medical knowledge but requires diplomates to demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning and to assess and improve the quality of the care they deliver.
