Jacksonville, Fla.–In observance of Foot Health Awareness Month, the Wellness and Education Centers of Shands Jacksonville will offer free foot exams for diabetics every Wednesday during the month of April. No appointment necessary. Referrals will be made to a physician, if necessary.
St. Matthew Wellness and Education center is located at 1311 West 27th Street and the Education Center at Oaks of Durkeeville is located at 1605 Myrtle Avenue in the Hope VI Plaza. Clinic hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both offices are closed for lunch between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.
